Trunk or Treat

Trunk Or Treat

Trunk or Treat is around the corner.  Make plans to join your fellow parishioners on Saturday, October 28th.  For information and tickets visit:

Queen of All Saints Trunk or Treat

Price Includes: Trunk-or-Treat Admission, face painting, hot chocolate, and the glow dance party. Each child will get a glow-in-the-dark necklace. Other "glow items" will be available to purchase.

Details: Gates open at 6:30 - no cars admitted after 7PM. Gates will be locked until 9PM. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 6:30 - we have to set up after 5PM mass and the parking lot overflows onto Christopher if people arrive early.

Prizes Awarded: This year we will be awarding $30 for the best decorated car. We will also have 3 Costume Contests (Grades PreK-2, 3rd-6th and 7th-adult) to win a $10 gift card each. Costume Contests will begin at 8PM.

Arrival: This year we are doing things like last year. In an effort to make our lot safer, spaces will NOT be assigned. Instead, meet up with your friends elsewhere and ARRIVE TOGETHER to PARK TOGETHER. That is, meet up at someone's house or at Sports Pub then come down to QAS and enter the lot together. Let us know how many cars you have and we'll make sure you get parked next to each other. If a friend is late, they will not be parked by you.

Safer Parking: Additionally, this year cars will NOT be parked "nose-to-nose" which requires at least half of the cars to back out of their spots. Instead, cars will be parked rows side-by-side. Don't worry, we'll have plenty of people out on the lot to help you park. At, or just after 7PM, we will have an air horn and have THREE BLASTS to signal that all the cars are on the lot and parked - start trick-or-treating!

Safer Exit: At 8:50PM, we will blast the air horn THREE TIMES to tell you you have 10 minutes to clean up your area and get in your vehicle for a quick exit. At 9:00 we will give ONE LONG BLAST to indicate the night is over - cars will begin leaving out both exits (follow our helpers) by pulling forward out of their spots IN THE SAME ORDER THEY ARRIVED. That is, we will release line by line from the parking lot. Please do not move until directed to. IF you don't want to/can't leave, no problem, stay parked where you are until the lot is cleared.

Rain or Shine: In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the gym.

What to bring? Bring your children in costumes, candy/treats, decorated car, snacks and drinks. We will email everyone a day or two before the event to let you know how many children are coming. Being that this is an event "directed primarily to and for minors" there will be no alcohol allowed according to Archdiocesan rules.Where
